The Aegean Cove is located in Astoria, Queens and named after the beautiful Aegean Sea which is also the ancestry place of partners George Neofytides and Kostas Blafas.
Kostas Blafas is a former partner of Titan Foods, one of the largest importers of Greek foods and products in America and George Neofytides is a demolition contractor and founder of the “Aegean Breeze” a restaurant located in Great Barrington, Massachusetts and considered to beone of the finest Greek Cuisines in the Berkshires.
Both the Aegean Cove and the Aegean Breeze restaurants have been designed by Stelios Varvounis.
Stelios’ passion for the fine arts led him to Paris where he gained his education and now has global accomplishments that can be found in Japan, Saudi Arabia, Europe, New York, Texas and many other places around the world. Stelios has created
a warm and welcoming ambiance that tremendously enhances the overall dining experience at Aegean Cove.
